Two of Pentacles

© 2015 Carmen Waterman - Two of PentaclesChoices, Balance and Priorities… Oh My!

Today’s card is particularly important for so many of us. The Two of Pentacles is all about choices and balance. When this card comes into your life it is a sign that you could be reaching a stage of being overwhelmed or even lost. You may have too many projects, too many jobs, far too much to do and not enough time or energy to get it all done. How often do we push ourselves beyond what is healthy and realistic.

You may need to make a choice and cut back on some activities in order to continue moving forward. It may seem impossible but it is important to set priorities and make sure that you are looking at all areas of your life. Setting priorities and making time for self-care is something so many people need to be reminded of. When was the last time you did something nurturing for yourself? Your health and wellness depends on you making choices that promote a balance of life, work and play. Step away from feelings of perfectionism or trying to do it all. They will only lead to burn out. Making time to do things that bring you peace and joy are needed to find your way, especially if you can’t even remember what those things are!

Today I am grateful for the reminder that it all can’t be done at once, and that perhaps along with setting priorities and balance I need to add a little patience into the mix.

Brightest Blessings

((Chloe)) thanks hon, when we get to a point when things are on overwhelm it is especially important to add that into your priorities. A lesson I really had to learn the hard way at first 😉
